Product Description

The SC(B) series epoxy resin dry-type transformer is designed to meet stringent safety and performance requirements. This transformer is characterized by its flame-retardant, fire-proof, and explosion-proof properties while also being maintenance-free and environmentally friendly. Its compact size is made possible by encapsulating the winding, allowing direct installation in the load center.

The product features a scientifically designed casting process that minimizes partial discharge, reduces noise, and enhances heat dissipation capacity. It is capable of operating continuously under a 125% rated load with forced air cooling. Equipped with an intelligent temperature controller, the transformer is capable of fault alarm, overtemperature alarm, overtemperature trip, and black box functionalities. It is connected to a computer via an RS485 serial interface, enabling centralized monitoring and control.

Due to its exceptional characteristics, the dry-type transformer finds widespread use in power transmission systems for a variety of critical applications. These include but are not limited to hotels, restaurants, airports, high-rise buildings, commercial centers, residential areas, subways, smelters, ships, offshore drilling platforms, and other harsh environment locations.

Working Environment and Conditions

  1. Ambient Temperature: No more than +40℃, No less than -25℃, The monthly average temperature is no more than +30℃, The yearly average temperature is no more than +20℃.
  2. Altitude: No more than 1000m.
  3. The power supply voltage's wave is similar to a sine wave.
  4. Three-phase power supply voltage is approximately symmetrical.
  5. The relative humidity of the surrounding air should be less than 93%. There should be no water droplets on the coil surface.
  6. Installation Site: Indoor or outdoor.

Product characteristic

The high-voltage winding of the transformer is carefully crafted from either enameled copper wire or film-wrapped copper wire, while the low-voltage winding is made of copper foil. Surrounding the high-voltage winding is glass fiber felt, and it is filled with epoxy resin in a vacuum state without any filler. As a result, it has a solid structure with high mechanical strength, minimal partial discharge, and reliable performance.

This transformer is not only flame retardant and explosion-proof but also environmentally friendly with no risk of environmental pollution. It can be conveniently installed in a load center. The core material is constructed using premium cold-rolled oriented silicon steel sheets in a fully inclined seam laminated structure, providing specific benefits that make it ideal for various applications.

Thanks to a special treatment process, the coil does not absorb moisture, ensuring the transformer's effective operation in high relative humidity and other challenging environments.
